Rogue Files scans the file system for files, directories and links that do not belong to any installed package in the RPM Database.

Xero-Space writes zeros to every unallocated block (free space) on Ext2/3/4 disk filesystems.
It works on unmounted partitions avoiding cached file writes and journals (approximately 4GiB/minute SATA-3) Xero-Space 2.0 can zero partitions sequentially or concurrently (multi-threaded)
It does not create any files, alter directory structures, superblocks or file system statistics, but running fsck on the partition beforehand is recommended... especially if Xero-Space suggests that you do |
