Zirca is a manager for Zircon Archive Containers (ZAC).
Zirca can Create archives, List and extract files.
The ZAC format is designed for stream compressors that do not store filenames and metadata such as bzip2, lzip, lz4, lzma and xz (gzip is supported as a convenience).

Advantages of using ZAC over tar:

Each file is individually compressed allowing random access.
Operations are much faster since the entire archive does not need to be traversed/decompressed.
Each file can be compressed by any of the supported methods.

Disadvantages of using ZAC over tar:

tar is compressed as a "solid" file, including the file indormation, which usually results in a smaller archive
(Uncompressed ZAC is always smaller than uncompressed tar).

Zirca uses the glib library.
Build Requires: libglib2.0-devel >= 2.30

These files are currently unavailable since they are not compliant with the standard specification.
